A thorough initial assessment looks at a holistic picture of your presentation, past history and treatments, and risks. A diagnosis is reached and an effective treatment plan is proposed which can be implemented by your GP or by ourselves in a private capacity. If needed, we can liaise with other professionals involved like your NHS consultant and community mental health teams.

Most of our clients have what they call ‘treatment resistance’ (inadequate response to 2 or more treatments). Our thorough assessment and extensive experience with various treatment modalities mean that in almost all these cases, we are able to offer treatment plans which further improve the symptoms. Where this is not possible, we are honest about what can be realistically achieved.

We offer ADHD assessments, report and treatment to adult clients (16years age and above). We complete a thorough assessment by an expert consultant psychiatrist (no nurses or allied healthcare professionals) who confirms the diagnosis along with any other co-existing health issues. A treatment plan is discussed and once agreed upon, ADHD medicines are prescribed privately or through GP. Follow-up appointments are offered as needed.

We also take cases where previous treatment plans have not been effective or partially effective, and strive to improve your treatment response as much as possible.

A full report and certificate of diagnosis is provided.

Fee: £500 for initial assessment (2 hours) and £125 for 30 minute follow-up appointments.

We have specialised neuropsychiatric experience in our team and work with various case management teams throughout the UK. We offer thorough neuropsychiatric assessments including capacity assessments, treatment plans and work collaboratively with MDT to come up with effective and practical management plans for the clients.

Last year, our average turnaround time for a report was 3 working days (yes…3 working days!) from the point of being instructed and provided with relevant documents. 

We offer a simple process:

1. Email or call us with your query and get a response straightaway (a ‘yes’ response in 95% of cases).
2. Email us your instructions and documents.
3. The client is offered an online assessment next day.
4. You receive the report within 2 days.

We accept legal aid cases at published rates. For private cases, we charge a fee of £250 + VAT per hour.

Dr Deepak Gupta has extensive experience working as a consultant psychiatrist and is well known in his field, both in the UK and abroad. He trained in medicine and specialised in psychiatry in Mumbai, India where he practised from 1998-2003. He then came to the UK and has since worked in both NHS and independent sectors in various settings- community, inpatient, rehabilitation, addictions. His expertise is in ADHD, autism, neuropsychiatry and various mental health disorders notably anxiety, depression and psychosis. He has been awarded with various accolades in his career spanning nearly 3 decades. He is currently based in Greater Manchester, UK. Outside of work, his interests include chess, yoga and volunteering in local community. He is also a coach for young professionals and people in challenging careers.
